Peck Data Communications is a Telecommunications Installer/Contractor with over twenty years of experience. We currently have a staff of twenty technicians to service and install your network, voice & fiber-optic cabling projects. Our services include the installation & maintenance of AVAYA and Samsung phone systems by our factory certified technicians - Project Resume below. We are staffed for the largest of installations to daily site moves, adds, and changes that our Service Department easily covers. Our experience includes Industrial, Federal,Commercial and Residential installations. Our staff is familiar with manufacturing, cleanroom areas, hospitals, schools, and all office environments. Telecommunications Experience

IBM - Burlington Site Telecommunications Contract.  This project consists of all site moves, adds, and changes for office and manufacturing areas for data and voice. Currently 18 technicians are dedicated to this project which Peck Electric Co. has serviced for the past 22 years. This project consists of the support and installation of fiber optic, Category 3, 5, 5E, 6, IBM type 1, 1A, 2 and 2A cabling.

We are also an IBM Global Services Telecommunications nationally approved vendor / installer. This project consisted of voice and data cabling for the second floor of the new building with ADC/Krone’s TrueNet C5eT structured cabling system. Over 340 triplex station locations and a server lab were installed for the project. Mailroom Services Offsite Relocation & 35 GMD Renovation - This project consisted of cabling an off-site location with a new closet build and forty-three triplex drops with Krone TrueNet C6T cabling for the data and voice locations. The old Mailroom area was renovated and cabled with twenty new workstations. New Cabling Upgrade 2003 - This project consisted of re-cabling the first floor with Krone TrueNet C6T cabling for the data and voice locations. We also support the facilities moves, adds and changes which involve cabling and other rearrangement projects. Atlanta, GA 2002 - This project consisted of 72 triplex voice and data cabling at this satellite office location, with Krone’s TrueNet C5eT structured cabling system. Link and New Building Cabling 2001/2000 - This project consisted of voice and data cabling in the link and three floors of the new building with Krone’s TrueNet C5eT structured cabling system. This included the building the of new communication closets and expansion of the MDF, installation of copper voice backbone trunks and a Corning Cabling System, fiber optic main and redundancy network. Over 600 triplex station locations were installed for the project. Video Conference Cabling 2000 - Installation of a video conference system in a majority of the conference rooms. 25 & 35 Green Mountain Drive 1999 - Installation of new cabling in these renovated buildings with over 350 triplex-drop locations. We have also supported miscellaneous moves, adds, and changes for this facility and satellite locations since 1998, when the main three floor office complex was re-cabled with a Belden / Krone Symphony Certified Cabling System. We have also supported miscellaneous moves, adds, and changes for the resort since 1999.
   

A.I.G / Stowe Mountain Resort – New Maintenance, Quad & Triple Building 2005 & 2004 - Installed Belden / Krone structured cabling system and twenty-five pair outdoor voice backbone cabling from main lodge to support buildings. Spruce Peak Voice Backbone Relocation Project 2004 - Installed new one hundred and fifty pair outdoor cabling underneath a brook that runs between the Spruce Peak and Mansfield Lodges. The services for these sites were hot-swapped from the old cabling to the new for continuous service. The cable relocation was necessary for environmental reasons. Spruce Peak & Mansfield Lodge Security Camera Installation 2004 - Installed new security cameras and cabling for additional needs. Spruce Peak Realty 2003 - Installed structured cabling system and AVAYA Partner phone systems for Spruce Peak Realty offices in preparation of the resort expansion project. Old Control & Conference Center 2002/2001 These two buildings were re-cabled with a Belden / Krone Symphony Certified Cabling System. Hunt Valley, MD 2000 office expansion of twenty-two drops to their existing space on the same floor. Installation of an underground Siecor fiber optic cable and one hundred copper voice pairs in 1000’ of PVC conduit between Old Control and the Mansfield Lodge. We have also supported miscellaneous moves, adds, and changes for the resort since 1999, when a Belden / Krone Symphony Certified Cabling System, was installed throughout the resort.

Champlain College – New Wireless, Laundry & Vending Cabling Project 2005 & 2004 - This project installation was with Belden / Panduit Category 5E cabling for wireless, laundry and vending machines through out the entire campus.  New Hill Hall Dorm Cabling 2004 - This project installation was an Integrity, Belden / Panduit structured cabling system for twenty voice, data and CATV locations in the new dorm. Also connected the voice, CATV and fiber optic backbone to the campus network. New backbone for New Buildings 2004 This project includes the installation of voice, CATV and fiber optic backbone and redundancy networks for the new Student Life and Business Centers. Cabling Upgrades 2003 - This summer project involved the installation of backbone and redundancy cabling for the campus for the construction of the two new buildings. This included reworking the voice and fiber optic backbone on campus for the site to be cleared for construction to begin. New Residence Dorm Cabling 2003 - This project installation was an Integrity, Belden / Panduit structured cabling system for voice and data in the new dorm. Also connected the voice, CATV and fiber optic backbone to the campus network. Campus Backbone 2001 - The installation of a new a Corning Cabling System, fiber optic main and redundancy network throughout the college campus which included twenty-two separate buildings. Also installed an Integrity, Belden / Panduit structured cabling system for voice and data in the West House Dorm. Whiting and South House Dorms 2000 - Installed an Integrity, Belden / Panduit structured cabling system for voice and data in two dorms, Whiting and South House. Also upgraded cabling in two floors of Hauke Hall, including a new lab. We have also supported renovation projects and miscellaneous moves, adds, and changes for the campus since 1998.

Vergennes High School – September 2003 – Installed a wireless satellite network between the facilities for network and Internet access. New Cabling Upgrades Summer 2002 - This project consisted of cabling of the new addition and the existing school locations. The scheduled phases for completion of this project were over twelve months, including fiber optic, voice backbone and with over 300 drop locations. A Belden / Panduit Integrity solution was installed with Corning Cabling Systems fiber optic backbone. Panduit data conductivity hardware, patch panels and wire management were installed with Belden Datatwist 350 Enhanced Category 5E for data and Category 3 voice. Upgrades for the Samsung voice switch and added extensions were also part of this project as well. We also support all the voice and data moves, adds, and changes for the school district.
